These tips will allow you to quickly wrap gifts with the same method but easily create variety for different gifts. 1. Using washi tapes two-ways: basic gift-wrapping that\u2019s easy to create variety<\/h2>\n

There are two basic washi tape gift-wrapping methods that\u2019s easy to start with.<\/p>\n

First, the classic cross, using washi tape as ribbons. You\u2019ll use two materials to create the cross and bow.<\/span><\/p>\n

What you need: any paper for wrapping, washi tape (solids and patterns work best) and twine.<\/p>\n

1. Wrap the gift with paper, even plain paper.
2. Wrap horizontally with washi tape.
3. Tie vertically with twine and tie a bow on top.<\/p>\n

Second, designing your own wrapping paper, using designs on the washi tape. <\/span><\/p>\n

What you need: plain or patterned wrapping paper, release paper (sticker paper), washi tape (illustration designs work best), twine.<\/p>\n

2. Stick washi tape to the release paper, and cut out the designs.<\/p>\n
